OK guys I''m rebuilding my 1970 c/10 from the ground up. I''m cant decided on what motor to put in it but when I do I''ll need help finding the right rear end. I''m going to go with a 350 w/ bored 60 over big cam and the works *or* a 454 stock. I plan on going with 285/50/20 in the back and putting air ride in it. I plan on this being a driver/local show truck and I also want it to be a posi rear end to. So my question is, what gears do I need here?

Power *or* fuel economy? Automatic *or* stick? It all makes a differance.

I''d say between 3.50 and 4.10, lots of pep and still drivable on the freeway once in a while.
