Hello, there! New to this forum so thanks for having me aboard. My problem is my ''61 chevy fleetside 283 V8 will crank over, but not start. I had it running great all summer, then it started running rough upon acceleration, got it in the garage, then a few days later no start. I have checked the points, condensor,(replaced those), new coil, new distributor cap, new rotor, bench checked the starter (it is fine), but still no start. Also, not getting spark to # 1 plug. No, Haven''t checked the others. Have checked the fuel pump and it is pumping fine. Any thoughts *or* ideas out there. Appreciate the help.
